1 In accordance with Section 87(2) of the Local Government Act 1972, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a CASUAL VACANCY has occurred in the office of TOWN COUNCILLOR of the Parish of Rye, due to the death of Councillor Josephine Clare Kirkham.
2 An election to fill the vacancy will be held if, within 14 days (not counting Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays) from the date below, TEN electors for the Parish give notice in writing claiming such an election to the Returning Officer.
